Vertical Sequin Stripes & Chevron Tubular-Bead Composition

The exterior design is defined by a continuous vertical stripe pattern rather than a figurative or floral motif. Wider bands are densely filled with gold sequins, establishing the principal vertical direction of the surface, while narrower bands provide a contrasting bead arrangement between them.

Within these narrower sections, tubular beads are positioned in repeating chevron formations. The angular direction of the chevrons contrasts with the straight vertical organization of the broader sequin stripes while remaining part of the same monochromatic gold composition.

The foldover flap carries the same striped beadwork used across the front-facing body. Rather than functioning as a separately decorated panel, it continues the alternating sequence of sequin-filled stripes and tubular-bead chevron bands across the upper and front surfaces.

The back, side panels and base repeat the coordinated beadwork treatment, creating full decorative coverage across all exterior surfaces. This continuity distinguishes the design from partially embellished foldover clutches with plain fabric or unembellished reverse panels.

The concealed area beneath the flap is also finished with matching gold beadwork. The under-flap treatment therefore continues the same overall decorative direction rather than changing to plain fabric or another surface finish.
