The flap is organized into overlapping horizontal bands of semicircular fan forms. Each fan contains tightly arranged black bead rows radiating upward from the lower points of the pattern, while metallic-gold bead outlines trace the principal curves and separate the individual geometric sections. Multiple nested arches create repeated scalloped layers across the width rather than isolated decorative motifs.

The upper and lower fan rows overlap to form a scale-like arrangement. Pointed junctions appear where neighboring arches meet, establishing a regular vertical rhythm between the curved sections. Metallic-gold beadwork follows these intersections as well as the broader semicircular outlines, producing a structured contrast against the dense black ground.

Vertical gold accents interrupt the curved geometry at repeated intervals.
