The Tropical Leaf Beaded Shoulder Bag features an all-over foliage composition of large overlapping leaf forms arranged across an ivory beaded ground. Blue & Green Tropical Foliage Beadwork

The front is organized around large tropical leaf motifs distributed across both the flap and lower front panel. The leaves vary in scale, orientation and visible proportion, with some motifs shown almost completely while others are cropped by the outer edges of the bag or interrupted by the flap boundary. This produces a continuous foliage composition rather than a rigid repeated pattern.

Dark green, medium blue and turquoise beadwork forms the principal leaf shapes, while darker green and black detailing defines selected outlines, internal sections and vein-like divisions. The ivory ground remains visible between the larger motifs, providing contrast around the overlapping foliage.

Curved and directional bead rows follow the contours of the leaves and their internal segmented forms. Several motifs sweep diagonally across the flap, while additional leaves continue across the lower panel, allowing the botanical treatment to extend visually between the two sections. The composition is asymmetrical, with different leaf shapes and orientations distributed across the front rather than arranged around a single central focal point.

Narrow dark green beadwork defines portions of the flap edge and outer perimeter. The visible exterior of the wide shoulder strap is primarily finished in ivory beadwork with narrow dark green edging, coordinating with the front palette without repeating the large foliage motifs.

The reverse is finished in solid ivory beadwork matching the front background color. Optional beaded personalization and custom back designs are available on request.

Construction, Interior & Functionality

The bag has a rectangular shape with rounded bottom corners and semi-structured construction. Cotton fabric with beadwork forms the standard exterior, while alternative fabrics and bead grades are available on request. Optional foam padding can be specified for improved shape retention and a more defined shape. Piping is also available on request.

The flap closes with dual magnetic snaps, with stronger magnets available as an optional specification. The interior is lined in satin and contains a single main compartment with an interior zippered pocket. Alternative satin weights and grades can be specified. An optional exterior back pocket with magnetic closure is also available.

The interior pocket uses a standard metal zipper. Brass zippers, alternative zipper grades and upgraded zipper pulls are available on request. The bag is designed to accommodate a smartphone and standard evening essentials, subject to individual item size.

A wide fixed beaded shoulder strap is standard. A detachable configuration using D-rings and swivel snap hooks is available on request. Supported carry options are shoulder carry and hand carry using the strap. Full exterior beadwork, including under-flap beadwork, is standard; under-flap and/or back-panel beadwork may be omitted to reduce cost.

Care & Handmade Variation

Keep the bag away from dust and moisture and store it in a protective dust bag when not in use. Clean gently with a soft, dry brush or cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning chemicals, rubbing, pulling or snagging the beadwork.
