The Tropical Resort Motif Beaded Shoulder Bag combines fruit, floral, cocktail, marine and novelty elements across contrasting striped beadwork. The front is divided between dusty pink and ivory stripes on the flap and ivory and mustard-yellow stripes on the lower panel, creating two distinct sections within the same resort-themed composition.

Tropical, Cocktail & Novelty Motifs on Striped Beadwork

The flap uses alternating dusty pink and ivory vertical stripes as the background for a varied group of motifs. A yellow lemon with a green leaf appears alongside blue script reading “Viva,” a large pink flower, a pale blue cocktail glass and a red lobster. The motifs are distributed individually across the striped field rather than forming a repeated pattern.

The lower front panel changes to vertical ivory and mustard-yellow stripes and introduces a separate group of tropical and novelty elements. A palm tree, cherries, black sunglasses with green foliage, a central eye motif, a dark coconut-style drink with a pink straw and floral accent, and a small blue circular decorative motif are arranged across this section. Layered blue-and-white wave bands run along the bottom edge and complete the lower portion of the composition.

The contrast between the two striped grounds creates a clear transition at the flap line while retaining a shared resort theme across the full front. Ivory, dusty pink and mustard yellow form the principal background colors, while red, green, blue and black appear throughout the individual motifs.

The back is more restrained, using continuous vertical dusty pink and ivory striped beadwork without the multi-motif front composition. The wide shoulder strap is finished in coordinating dusty pink beadwork.

Construction, Interior & Functionality

The bag has a rectangular shape with rounded bottom corners and semi-structured construction. Cotton fabric with beadwork forms the standard exterior, while alternative fabrics and bead grades are available on request. Full exterior beadwork, including under-flap beadwork, is standard. Under-flap and/or back-panel beadwork may be omitted to reduce cost.

The standard configuration is without piping, with piping available on request. Optional foam padding is available for improved shape retention and a more defined shape.

The flap closes with dual magnetic snaps, and stronger magnets are available on request. The interior is finished with satin lining and contains a single main compartment with an interior zippered pocket. Alternative satin lining weights and grades are available on request. An optional exterior back pocket with magnetic closure can also be specified.

The interior pocket uses a standard metal zipper. Brass zippers, alternative zipper grades and upgraded zipper pulls are available on request. The bag is designed to accommodate a smartphone and standard evening essentials, subject to individual item size.

A wide fixed beaded shoulder strap is standard. A detachable version with D-rings and swivel snap hooks is available on request. Supported carry configurations are shoulder carry and hand carry using the strap.

Care & Handmade Variation
