Citrus Slice & Berry Beadwork Composition

The front flap carries a dense scattered arrangement centered around a large circular citrus slice. Its interior is divided into radiating segments, with orange outlines and radial bead placement defining the individual sections. Smaller half-round and wedge-shaped citrus forms are positioned around the principal slice, varying the scale and orientation of the fruit elements across the flap.

Dark blue and teal-blue circular berry motifs are interspersed between the orange citrus forms. These use concentric bead rows, transitioning from deeper navy tones toward teal-blue centers. The circular construction of the blue motifs contrasts with the segmented structure of the citrus slices while remaining part of the same scattered fruit pattern.

The lower front panel continues the composition beneath the horizontal flap edge with additional whole and partial citrus slices and repeated blue berry forms. The motifs remain asymmetrically distributed rather than arranged as a regular repeat. Repetition of the orange, navy and teal elements creates visual continuity between the flap and lower body.

Curved outlines and radial bead placement shape the citrus elements, while the blue motifs follow circular bead-row direction. Closely arranged ivory beadwork fills the negative space surrounding the fruit forms and establishes the principal background across the front.

The back changes to a more open treatment. The bag has a rectangular shape with rounded bottom corners and semi-structured construction. Cotton fabric with beadwork forms the standard exterior, while alternative fabrics and bead grades are available on request. Optional foam padding can be specified for improved shape retention and a more defined shape. Piping is also available on request.

The flap closes with dual magnetic snaps, with stronger magnets available on request. The interior is lined in satin and contains a single main compartment with an interior zippered pocket. The interior pocket uses a standard metal zipper. Brass zippers, alternative zipper grades and upgraded zipper pulls are available on request. The bag is designed to accommodate a smartphone and standard evening essentials, subject to individual item size.

A wide fixed beaded shoulder strap is standard. A detachable configuration using D-rings and swivel snap hooks is available on request. Supported carry options are shoulder carry and hand carry using the strap. Full exterior beadwork, including under-flap beadwork, is standard; under-flap and/or back-panel beadwork may be omitted to reduce cost.
