The Shark Motif Beaded Shoulder Bag is a handcrafted beaded handbag centered on a large open-mouth shark emerging from layered blue wave forms against a pale icy-blue ground. Black, charcoal gray, silver-gray and white beadwork defines the shark head, while royal blue, turquoise and lighter blue accents form the surrounding water. A contrasting red border traces the exterior perimeter.

Craftwork India manufactures this design in India with individually hand-embroidered beadwork. The standard configuration includes a fully beaded exterior, coordinated shark-and-wave compositions across the front and back, a pale icy-blue fixed shoulder strap with red edging, satin lining, a single main compartment and an interior zippered pocket. OEM and private-label manufacturing, personalization and specification customization are available subject to design and production feasibility.

Open-Mouth Shark & Wave Beadwork Composition

The front composition is organized around a large shark head positioned centrally across the bag. The motif extends vertically across the flap edge, connecting the upper flap with the lower front panel rather than separating the shark into two independent sections. Layered black, charcoal gray, silver-gray and white beadwork defines the pointed head, with concentric directional rows following its outer contours.

The open mouth forms a prominent internal section within the shark motif. A narrow red outline follows the mouth, surrounding a dark interior with repeated white triangular teeth arranged along the upper and lower jaws. The contrast between the dark mouth, white teeth and red outlining distinguishes this area from the gray and black sections of the head.

Stylized wave forms extend horizontally from both sides of the shark across the lower portion of the front. Light blue, turquoise and deeper royal-blue sections are arranged in curved and swirling bead rows that follow the individual wave shapes. These water motifs occupy the area around the lower shark head while leaving the pale icy-blue ground visible across the remaining surface.

The surrounding background is densely covered with directional pale-blue beadwork, with rows curving around the central shark and wave elements. A strong red beaded border follows the full perimeter of the front and continues around the flap and side edges, contrasting with the cooler blue, gray and white palette.

The back repeats the marine theme with another centrally positioned open-mouth shark head surrounded by blue wave detailing on the same pale icy-blue ground. Its composition is more contained than the front while retaining the same principal motif and color relationships. The visible side panel continues the pale-blue ground with red perimeter treatment.

The wide fixed shoulder strap is covered in pale icy-blue beadwork with prominent red edging along both sides. The exterior is fully beaded as standard, including the area beneath the flap. Under-flap beadwork and/or back-panel beadwork may be omitted on request to reduce cost.

Construction, Interior & Functionality

The bag has a rectangular shape with rounded bottom corners and semi-structured construction. Cotton fabric with beadwork forms the standard exterior, while alternative fabrics and bead grades are available on request. Optional foam padding can be specified for improved shape retention and a more defined shape. Piping is also available on request.

The flap closes with dual magnetic snaps, with stronger magnets available as an optional specification. The interior is finished with satin lining and contains a single main compartment with an interior zippered pocket. Alternative satin weights and grades may also be specified.

The standard interior pocket uses a metal zipper. Brass zippers, alternative zipper grades and upgraded zipper pulls are available on request. An exterior back pocket with magnetic closure can also be specified.

A wide fixed beaded shoulder strap is standard. A detachable strap configuration using D-rings and swivel snap hooks is available on request. The specified carry options are shoulder carry and hand carry using the strap. The bag is designed to accommodate a smartphone and standard evening essentials, subject to individual item size.

Manufacturing, Quality & Supply

This beaded shoulder bag is fully handcrafted in India by skilled artisans using individually hand-embroidered beadwork. The standard exterior includes beadwork across the front, back, side panel, beneath the flap and along the coordinated shoulder strap, with changing bead-row directions following the shark head, mouth, teeth, wave forms and surrounding pale-blue ground.

Finished orders undergo multi-stage quality inspection before dispatch. Each bag is supplied with individual protective packaging. Custom retail packaging and export packaging are available upon request.

Care & Handmade Variation

Keep the bag away from dust and moisture and store it in a protective dust bag when not in use. Clean gently with a soft, dry brush or cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning chemicals, rubbing, pulling or snagging the beadwork.

Due to the handcrafted nature of the product, slight variations in bead placement, pattern alignment, color and finish may occur. Actual production pieces may vary slightly from the images shown.
